Meetings

The Church Leaders' Meeting (e.g. bishops, chairs, synod moderator, divisional commander, regional team minister) meets (with the Ecumenical Officer) for lunch and an informal afternoon conversation, once a year.
The 2010 meeting has been re-scheduled to take place with our neighbouring "intermediate body", Churches Linked Across Staffordshire & the Potteries, (CLASP) at a residential gathering on

Thursday, 2nd December to Friday, 3rd December, at Shallowford House, near Stone

The Sponsoring Body for Local Ecumenical Partnerships will also meet during that gathering.

The Enabling Group meets quarterly.  The next meeting is due to be held at 7.30pm on

18th October at a venue in Stourbridge

The Enabling Group may establish Task Groups.  Currently a Task Group is considering the sub-region's potential for Faith Tourism.

A Forum may be held (in theory but not inevitably) annually.  The 2007 Forum was a stimulating day, held in the wake of the publication of the Anglican report "Faithful Cities".  A summary of the main speakers' contributions may be reached via Engaging above.
It is intended to hold a Forum this year in Walsall, jointly with CLASP, on the evening of 30th September to mark the imminent retirement of the Ecumenical Officer and the new appointment of the new Ecumenical Mission Officer.
