The Lot is Cast
...but three of BCCE's church leaders came together before the election to publicise the inappropriateness of the mood of cynicism afflicting some members of the population. Particularly during 2008, when many people in the churches are positively cultivating expressions of hope, the election required a positive response.
It was therefore hoped the electorate would value our
democratic way and exercise their right to vote and in doing so try to make a wise choice.
The paper Black Country Churches Engaged produced lists a number of questions people might have chosen to ask themselves about the candidates.
