Local Ecumenical Partnerships in the Black Country
There are six different categories of Local Ecumenical Partnerships between different denominations, viz.
- Single Congregation Partnership
- Congregations in Covenanted Partnership
- Shared Building Partnership
- Chaplaincy Partnership
- Mission Partnership
- Education Partnership

Penn Anglican, United Reformed, Methodist, Catholic (Category 2)
Perton Anglican & United Reformed (Categories 1 & 3)
Pheasey Anglican & Methodist (Categories 1 & 3)
Sedgley United Reformed & Methodist (Categories 1 & 3)

In theory, the Sponsoring Body appoints a Befriender to act as its link person with each LEP. In practice at the moment the team is incomplete. How to be a Befriender (in case, dear Reader, you feel the call) is spelt out in a paper "The Effective Befriender" (click on the link at the top).
