During 2007, our neighbouring body (Churches Linked Across Staffordshire & the Potteries) specifically and repeatedly encouraged people to recognise the Bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act. A helpful library was built up (as an experiment). Though few have used it, those who have borrowed books have appreciated the selection. The opportunity is still there: slavery has not gone away yet! Click the link to see the "shelf".
